Emma was diagnosed with CLN3 Batten's disease on 11/14/2023. Since then, our world has turned upside down. Our lives have been full of tears, hugs, prayers, meetings, doctor visits, health professional visits, phone calls, etc...so thankful for so many people!

Batten disease is a fatal neurodegenerative disorder that takes away childhood, and then takes away the child.

But there is hope...

We are currently in the appeals process with our insurance company to cover a medication that can help Emma. Until it is covered, we need to raise $30,000 to fund a potentially LIFE SAVING drug for 2024. We are also fighting FDA to approve this drug so we can get it covered financially or for them to at least accept it as a medication for Battens disease so we can apply for assistance programs.
